This class covers 15 required Co-Parenting topics, the classes are interactive and includes; group discussion, videos, role plays, other activities and teaches Co-Parents ways to parent together in health ways. The Class is 8 weeks, $35.00 per class, ($280.00 total) discounts are provided for paying for all classes prior to the first day of class. You must attend all classes to receive a certificate.

  • The impact of divorce on children/teens

  • Defining types of custody

  • Re-defining Parenting roles after divorce

  • The Emotional effects of Divorce on children, including anger, anxiety and sadness

  • Hostility or disagreement in the Co-Parenting relationship

  • Ways to Co-Parent successfully and in healthy ways

  • How to build Co-Parenting Agreements, Parenting strategies and establish rules/boundaries with each other 

  • Co-Parenting Basics

  • Conflict Management Skills and De-escalation techniques 

  • Problem Solving skills and Communication skills 

  • Parenting styles and ways to Parenting across two homes

  • Planning for visits, transitions, and scheduling conflicts

  • Addressing common challenges in the Co-Parenting Relationship 

The Next Class start date is Thursday June 6th,  2019, the Class is 8 weeks. We meet primarily on Thursday's 6:00pm - 7:00pm, with two possible Saturday dates. To register for this class simply click the "Book a Session link", please send the "Class name, and your full name, phone number. You will be provided with an invoice to pay and register for the class. The last day to register and pay for this class is Thursday May 30th  by 5:00 pm. Current discount is available for early enrollment.

These services are provided by Licensed Clinicians, or a Clinician supervised by a licensed Therapist and support families in matters related to Divorce, Custody issues and/or Child Protective Services. Affinity strongly recommends that families seeking these services related to CPS, get Pre-approval from County CPS SW, prior to participating in therapy, classes or groups to ensure they meet case plan requirements.
